1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and the role you hold (CPA, client, underwriter, or administrator).
- Application data: loan amounts, business purpose, and details you enter when submitting or reviewing an application.
- Sensitive personal and financial information: Social Security number, date of birth, employment, occupation, employer, and income details you provide for personal and business applications.
- Identity and income documents: driver's licenses, Social Security cards, pay/check stubs, and other files you upload, stored securely in private storage scoped to that application.
- Information extracted from your documents: when you upload an identity or income document, we use automated AI processing to read it and pre-fill fields such as name, date of birth, address, Social Security number, occupation, employer, and estimated annual income. You can review and correct any extracted value before submitting.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as device and browser type, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your role.
- To submit, route, and track loan applications between CPAs, clients, and underwriters.
- To automatically read uploaded identity and income documents and pre-fill your application, saving you time and reducing errors.
- To store and share supporting documents only with people authorized to view a given application.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the platform.
3. How we share information
- Applications and their documents — including sensitive information such as Social Security numbers and uploaded identity and income documents — are visible only to the people authorized to access them: the owner, the assigned underwriter reviewing the application, and administrators.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We use trusted service providers to host our infrastructure and to perform automated document reading. Documents may be transmitted to an AI processing provider solely to extract application fields, and are not used to train third-party models.
- We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the platform.
4. Data security
- Access to applications and documents is controlled by row-level security and role-based permissions.
- Documents are kept in a private storage bucket and are not publicly accessible.
- Social Security numbers and other sensitive fields are restricted to authorized parties on a given application and are never exposed publicly.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure provider.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply strong access controls to protect your data.
5. Data retention
- We retain account, application, and uploaded document data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and lending recordkeeping obligations.
- Sensitive identity and income documents are retained on your customer file to support your applications and may be removed on request, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
